Discounts
Working members volunteer in the store and receive discounts on purchases. The discounts apply to all purchases except milk, eggs, frozen orange juice, prepared soup and prepared coffee. Up to two adults per household can share the following discounts:- 3 hours per month: 15% discount
- 6 hours per month: 21% discount
- 12 hours per month: 28% discount
Senior citizens (age 65+) receive 15% discounts. While not required to work for the store, your contributions are welcome.
Childcare credit is available. Members with children are invited to participate in cooperative childcare with other members. In this way, one member can work in the store, while another member provides childcare. Both members receive work credit (note - the member volunteering in the store and the member offering childcare must be from different households).
