Annual Meeting

The annual meeting is scheduled in autumn to elect board members, review the past fiscal year, vote on any bylaw changes, and enjoy refreshments and an informational speaker. All members are encouraged to attend and participate; a quorum is needed to conduct business.

Mayfest

In May the co-op holds a three-day plant sale. There are also in-store sales, a festive mini-fair with food samples, music, local artisans, children's booth, and prizes.

Newsletter

A newsletter is published bi-monthly, featuring information and articles of interest to co-op members. It includes reports from the general manager, the membership coordinator, and the board of directors. Members are encouraged to contribute. The newsletter is available at the checkout counter

Orientation

A training session for new volunteers is held twice each month. Members wishing to become volunteers should place their name on the orientation sign-up form on the bulletin board in the lobby of the store. These sessions are a neccessary first step in becoming an active volunteer.
