Annual Meeting
Hampden Park Co-op's Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday November 11 at
6:00pm. We will meet in the basement of St. Anthony Park Methodist Church, where
we have met for several years. The church is at the corner of Como Avenue and
Hillside, a few blocks west of Raymond.
6:00 - Gathering: conversation, coffee, a chance to meet other members. We will
have a light supper. Bring an appetizer or dessert; everything else will be
provided.
6:30 - Meeting: Reports, election of new board members, and discussion of board
actions. Remember that you must be an up-to-date working member in order to
vote.
7:15 - Speakers: We are pleased to have David and Florence Minar from New Prague
present to give us an overview of their dairy operation. They are gearing up for
bottling milk in glass after the first of the year. We hope to carry several of
their products.
Elections for Board Positions
This year we have 3 openings for seats on the HPC Board. In order to offer
voters a choice, we need at least four people to run for those seats.
If you are interested in being on the HPC Board, information will be posted in
the store entryway after the October Board meeting, or you can contact Fred
Stenborg at fred_stenborg @ yahoo.com. You must be a working member to serve on
the Board. Previous board experience is helpful.
If you are curious about what board membership entails, talk to any of the
current board members: Ann Bernstein, Karen Dingle, Natasha Fleischman, Susan
Galeaota, Matt Gauder, Karen Gill-Gerbig, Marcia Hanson, Nick Jordan, or Fred
Stenborg.
Please note that the co-op will clode at 5pm on Sunday, November 11, so that
Sunday afternoon staff and volunteers may attend the meeting.
